MiCAR Update Notice: Important Information About Your Account

Dear Client,

YouHodler Italy S.r.l. (hereinafter also “YouHodler Italy”) would like to update you on a development that concerns you: the procedure for obtaining authorisation as a crypto-asset service provider under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 on markets in crypto-assets, and under the national implementing legislation, is currently underway before the Italian Authorities.

As the transitional period expires on 30 June 2026, from 1 July 2026 (specifically, from 23:59 on 30 June) and until authorisation is obtained, YouHodler will temporarily adopt a limited operating regime, designed to protect clients and to manage existing positions in an orderly manner.

From that date:

• the purchase of new crypto-assets will not be permitted;
• YouHodler Italy will continue to hold in custody the crypto-assets already held on behalf of its clients, in accordance with the applicable procedures and safeguards;
• it will always be possible to transfer crypto-assets to a non-custodial/unhosted wallet or to another crypto-asset service provider;
• only the exchange of crypto-assets into fiat currency will always be permitted;
• it will always be possible to request the withdrawal, in fiat currency, of the counter-value of the crypto-assets, once they have been converted into fiat currency.

This communication is for information purposes and is intended to allow you to make informed decisions about the management of your positions, it being understood that your funds are and will remain safe.

To carry out conversion, transfer or withdrawal operations, you will be able to access the platform in the ordinary way, which will continue to work as usual.

As soon as authorisation is obtained, YouHodler Italy will return to full operation and you will again be able to use all services, including the purchase of new crypto-assets. We will let you know promptly as soon as that is possible.

YouHodler Italy will continue to provide assistance to its clients and to communicate any further updates on the ongoing authorisation procedure through its official channels.
